Shahla Keyvan has a Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkley. She received her BS from University of Washington-Seattle and later received her MS and NE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her areas of expertise extend to Intelligent tutoring in computer-based instruction for engineering education, artificial intelligence application in engineering, and quality control and inspection via machine vision and image processing. Dr. Keyvan’s research activities have been supported by various grants from the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, Argonne National Laboratory, Missouri-Research Board, Missouri Institute of Instructional Development, and Missouri Department of Economic Development.
